Cubism Copy

For my 20th Century art class we had to pick a cubism painting and do a replica of it. I thought this one was pretty neat looking so I chose it. This is a copy of the painting Two Figures done by Liubov Popova. 

Sugar Insects

This was our final assignment for digital illustration! Yay! The assignment was to create our own insects with a theme so I did sugar bugs. It was a fun assignment!

Pale: Illustration Friday

This is my first post for the illustration friday topic. I just started a digital illustration class and each week we're taught a new style and then have to apply it to the topic given on illustrationfriday.com. This week the topic was pale so I decided to do Edward Sciossorhands.

This was a really fun technique to use! My teacher calls it the magic pill. It's a combination of gouache, oil paint, oil lift, and color pencils.
